Due to the unfavourable loading, operating and lubricating conditions, Connecting Rod Assemblies are considered to be one of the most difficult engineering applications. We have therefore laid special stress on various aspects like the forging design, perfection in machining, surface finish and internal grinding on the big and the small end sides. Centre distance between the big and the small ends is strictly maintained to facilitate a smooth and even stroke of the engine.
Special attention is also paid to the lubrication of the big end lateral surfaces. If felt necessary, suitable modifications are made to the lubrication slots or the bronze or hardened steel lateral washers.
"SICO" Connecting Rods are tested to high levels of precision with some of the best available testing equipment. All "SICO" Connecting Rods undergo lapping operation and they meet all International quality standards. We maintain a level of 0. 003 mm. We are open to third party inspection by any internationally reputed testing house.
We therefore proudly claim to be the leading producers of Connecting Rods in India, manufacturing over 100 types and sizes for various brands of Mopeds, Scooters and Motor Cycles. We are also equipped with know-how and the facilities to produce Connecting Rods to suit special applications or as per customer's drawing or samples.
